Confident Kids is proud to deliver the Flying Start 3-Year-Old Preschool Program, beginning in Term 1, 2026. A play-based, teacher-led program designed to give children a confident start before school.

Our 3-Year-Old Preschool offers:
  • Up to 15 hours of funded preschool each week
  • Teacher-led learning supported by experienced educators
  • Access to onsite allied health professionals such as speech and occupational therapists
  • A caring, play-based environment that nurtures each child’s individuality
  • No extra cost for eligible families – usual childcare fees remain unchanged.
Concepts we build on:
  • Caring for themselves, their belongings, and the environment
  • Building emotional regulation, cooperation and social skills
  • Developing kindness – one of our Confident Kids core values.

Eligibility for enrolment:
  • Aged 3 by 30 April (for term 1 enrolment) or 3 by 31 October (for mid-year enrolment) of the year in which they are to be enrolled.
  • Enrolled for a minimum of 2 days per week to receive access to up to 15 hours dedicated preschool.
  • Not attending another funded preschool program.

 

This initiative is proudly funded by the South Australian Government as part of their commitment to expanding access to quality early learning. Confident Kids is honoured to be one of the first services to roll out this program in 2026. 5 answers to your questions.
